So much for the feel good story

By Joshua

I shouldn’t be surprised at this after reading Theo’s book, but this recent blog post of his isn’t very classy: http://www.theofleury14.com/about/blog/235/index (via Matchsticks and Gasoline)

Update: Looks like Theo has pulled his blog post down. Lucky for us, Matchsticks and Gasoline still has a copy of it, so you can read it there.

Theo just being Theo… it was funny that last year when Iggy was on the cusp of breaking Theo’s record of Career points with the Flames, he was attending games and while walking up to the press boxes, (I usually sit in the Sec.219 with the steps to go to the Sport Check Zone) NO ONE recognized Theo… my buddy in the next seats had to nudge me to tell me that was Theo and it was…

All in all Theo’s comeback shouldn’t have been cut short but to the end of the calendar year… I think Flames management didn’t want him in the locker room and thus set him up to fail because honestly, at this stage, I would rather have a glue guy like Conroy in my locker room than a More-goals-than-Conroy loose canon guy like Theo.

He did sellout the Dome in the Pre-Season!
